This year's Initiation Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the Pacific Ballroom, Student Center.  Family and friends are welcome to attend this important event (no tickets required).  After the ceremony there will be a reception for new members, visitors, faculty and staff.

New members who plan to attend the Initiation Ceremony should pick up their seating assignment cards on June 9 and 10, 6th floor of Aldrich Hall, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.  We ask that new members wear appropriate "business casual" attire for the event.

On the day of the Ceremony, new members should take their seats no later than 11:30 AM.  At an appointed time, you will be asked to walk up to the stage and have your name announced by Professor Ken Janda, President of the Chapter..  After you cross the stage, you will be given your official Phi Beta Kappa Certificate of Membership and then return to your seat.

New members who are unable to attend the Initiation Ceremony may pick up your Phi Beta Kappa Certificates starting Friday, June 12, 6th Floor of Aldrich Hall, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
